Actually, other than using chemicals there are also another way to eliminating head lice naturally. Here are the ways:
Eliminate Lice Using hair oil and Shampoo
- Spread mayonnaise oil, castor oil, or coconut oil. Then cover your head with a plastic bag or shower head cover to less than 12 hours or 24 hours. During wear shower bag, do not forget to heat the head with a hair dryer or sit outside under the sunbath.
- Apply shampoo without hair wetted. Then cover your head with plastic and let the shampoo for 30 minutes.
- Wash your hair. No need to worry about the oil that is in the head. Oil will disappear when you combing. Comb your hair with a wide-toothed comb to prevent tangles.
- For long hair, tie your hair while combing to prevent messy. In this section, do not forget to tie your hair with a length of 1 inch.
- Make sure you start to comb your hair from the base near the scalp to ends. Repeat from the other direction on the same section. Perform this process until all the hair combed.
- Comb your hair over hot water and wipe with a tissue. Then use waterless shampoo to remove the oil. Lice cannot lays her eggs if your scalp oily.
- When you sleep use plastic cover to avoid lice to return nested. In the morning check your scalp and repeat the above steps at least once a month.
Eliminate Lice Using Alcohol
- Using alcohol to get rid of head lice should be done carefully. Therefore this method is done in the shower or while leaning over the bath.
- Pour the alcohol right in the middle of the forehead and following the hair line. Flatten alcohol on the hair with your fingers and make sure the alcohol covers the scalp. Then use a conditioner and rub it into the scalp. Use a long-toothed comb to brush all the lice.
- After it done then bathing and shampooing it twice, use conditioner to get rid of lice on your head completely.
Eliminate Lice Using Metal Comb
- Provide metal combs, long toothed, small magnifying glass and a bowl of hot water. Use conditioner and rub it into your head. Then pick your hair into several sections.
- Before using the comb, dip the comb in hot water. Comb the hair from all directions, especially from the base of the neck and behind the ears. Do it for 15 to 20 minutes.
- When combing put a bowl of hot water underneath. Look with a magnifying glass and check whether there are lice or lice eggs are dropped.
- Repeat this method for 14 days and shampoo with conditioner. After 14 days check it back using comb, hot water and a magnifying glass.
