Celebrity hairstylist David Stanwell recently created this textured ponytail for actress Linda Cardellini, who played Sylvia Rosen on Mad Men. He offers his tips  and product suggestions for how to re-create the perfectly tousled ponytail.

1. UseOribe Maximista Thickening Hair Spray through hair before blow drying.
2. Dry hair roughly off using a flat paddle brush till all moisture is gone.
3. Using your 1-inch curling iron, go through the hair section by section curling the hair.
4. Tip head upside down and shake out the curls and spray Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray for added texture.
5. Use your fingers as a comb to pull back the hair into a hair tie and lightly pull the top section out so it's not too tight and mist a hairspray like White Sands Infinity Finishing Spray for for added hold.
